High selling price doesn't mean a better 2nd hand market price (when you resell the car). It's rather stupid to have massive discount like the EAG/CEO or WTO for BMWs. This will drag the 2nd market price down to drain.
However if you look from a business perspective, you will see appreciation on anything starts with public transportation/and tunnel fees, so under 10% increment seem reasonable.

Most car loss about 20% within the 1st year.
For me a 50% drop is OK just like my last 2 BMW cars so I will sell my car when the price drops to about 250k+
My last e60 was about 45% loss over 5 years which is OK.
Also 5 years time I get other free car again.
If I do care about the 2nd hand market then I will get a Honda or Toyota
Not for me, love to drive so only the best handling cars and nothing can compare to our e60 right now
mo found this also
I will get the matt gray 1 and I know you will get the black
maybe we can get them and cheaper shipping cost

Dont care about the sell price as long as the car has a good discount and drive it for 4 years and change.
