You are too kind, coming from the "shark" himself it really means something
Our E60 was also not a bad family oriented sedan, I won't say "luxury" thou, the leg room of the back seat still cannot beat MB E-class...![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/rolleyes.gif)

The only 1 that can beat it in the world is the E60L in China in the same class
BTW do MB make E class long 1 like our E60

Umm, talking about horse power, we have Honda Civic SiR pumps out 170hp out of a 1.6L engine in late 90s.
So lots of horses doesn't mean you can pull the car out of the crowd easily, the torque comes to play in this area. Anyone see why SEAT won the WTCC series?

But i still wont get the diesel even its more economical,
diesel won't give you the driving pleasure that you get in the petrol engine,
unless you are travelling 200km+ per day, otherwise it wont help alot in saving nor in enviromental aspects.

the new Merc E250 blue efficiency 1.8 is pushing out 200+ps
and 0-100 of 7.3secs in a car weighing 1.7mt+good economy and we mean at the wheels,
the civic is at the engine which is less 20% Versus German power measurements.
SEAT won and also Lambo won at Macau because they have such a big pool of resources now,
owning Bugatti,Lambo,Seat,Skoda,Audi,VW and Porsche and soon Suzuki.......

True that they have tons of torque, but they all comes in 1000 - 3000 rpm only,
the torque will drop dramatically anything beyond 3000rpm.
So it is not fun to drive fast, i am still a petrol head

I am quite impressed with the E250 aswell, BMW should bring the twin turbo small engine quicker
