Hi guys... just joined the 5 series forum today! Looking to buy a E60 in the next month or so, but still debating on what engine size! Can anyone help? Is there a real difference between a 525 and 530? Would like to go for 545 but limited budget incl. immediate upgrades, i.e. rims, exhaust etc...

All help is appreciated!

PS. I am obviously in HK as well...!

Yeah, would appreciate it!! I been lookin at the 2nd hand car places in Kowloon Bay and Wanchai but cant seem to find any decent E60's...!!!! So, until i see some good examples, i can do a bit more research into it as well as light tuning possibilities!

Welcome Mark

Either 525 or 530 will be good enough to put a smile on your face, i would certainly get the 530i however.
But aware they have few different engines through it life cycle.

For example: pre-05 car has 231bhp, post 05 has 256bhp, LCI(Facelifted) 272 bhp

We have a regular "blow water" meet tomorrow night at 7.30pm, lets come down and know more before you buy

Thanks guys for all the responses!!!

Unfortunately, from looking at what the dealers are "asking" for at the car shows, my budget will probably fetch me a 2004 or maybe '05 at a push!!!

Billhk... thanks for the message! I will drop you a message once I figure out how to PM! ha ha!
