1. Go to realoem.com
2. Get the part # of the battery for your car and the price
3. Go to tischer bmw website "parts dept" and plug in the OEM part number and it will be discounted
4. they can ship to you. If you need ASAP your indy should be able to order the battery for you at OEM price. My OEM battery was $225 as listed on OEM from my indy.
The "reprogramming" is a joke. I watched as my indy did it. They plug into your car and once the program connects to your ECU the car automatically updates all the systems (door locks, power windows, active steering etc). It took less than 5 min.
The entire process took 15 min.
any "labor" charge over $75 (extreme)from the stealer-ship would be criminal.

My Ride: 2008 550I LOADED, all options except HUD and NV
I got my battery for a great deal from a member here who had traded his 5er for a 335. Then I got it registered for free at Bullet Performance in Costa Mesa.
