Hit 100k miles. What to do?

Sigh..... You're at 100K i would change the tranny fluid. There's a DIY here if you're comfortable. Check your serpentine belts for cracks, replace if necessary. Skip the differential fluid. Do coolant as well...do everything else as scheduled. Good luck.

I did my plugs ofcourse, air and microfilter left side upper and lower control arms and tie rod ends. I have a few mounts I need to take care of however(engine tranny driveshaft) and i like to think I'd be good to go after that

I fully agree with all previous posts.
At 100k miles:
In addition, do a visual inspection of the underside of your car. Look for any leaks and have them repaired or parts replaced. This includes inspecting and replacing shock absorbers that show external fluid leakage or seepage, While performing the inspection, you might want to take the time to inspect all the normal wear and tern items such as tires, brake pads, and brake rotors.
Beyond that, there is not much to do except drive the car and get your continued enjoyment out of owning one of the most reliable high performance sedans in the world!
Mechanically, the BMW is very well built. Many mechanics believe that you can drive them to 200k+ miles. Usually the thing that encourages you to sell the car is failure of the electronics (particularly the items traced by the iDrive system). With age, you may experience a rash of erroneous indications from the computer. As the false warnings begin to increase, you will lose confidence in the reliability of the car.....since every warning needs to be researched to determine if the warning is correct or false! At some point, the aggravation of dealing with the electronic glitches will be enough to force you to replace the car.
At 100k miles:
- Change all filters
- Inspect all belts and hoses and change out any that show even the slightest sign of cracking or hardness - rubber becomes hard and brittle with age and temperature and will eventually result in failure of the part.
- Change out all fluids (except tranny and rear differential - these can be done at higher mileage or when an issue rises).
- Change out spark plugs.

Well stated on electronical part. I have two BMWs well above 200K. My E60 has 109K currently. at 85K or so when I redid my headlights, the wires inside fell apart when moved. I mean they literally shattered like candy. I had to carefully and skillfully coat them with an electrical spray shielding. +'s and -'s don't go well with each other!
