Hit 100k miles. What to do?

My Ride: 530i
Model Year: 2004
I know the manual says one thing, but what realistically should I do?
At this point, I changed my spark plugs about 40k miles ago. I do my oil and filter every 5k miles. I did my disks and pads, bled the brakes.
Should I replace or adjust the timing belt (is this a DYI or should I go to a mechanic?)?
Anything else? I love this car and wanna see it go to 200k.

What year and model car do you have?
Oil & filter every 5K is good. These cars have a timing chain, not a belt, which are said to last 250-300K.
Check this out for a recommended maintenance schedule. Above and beyond factory recommendation, but it looks like the kind of overkill you want to do if you're keeping the car for a long time. It's on pages 4-5.

you should be fine, if you want to you can change the belts and the water pump plus fluids, air filter,fuel filter, in cabin filter. Brake and power steering fluid should be fine for another 30k to 50k up to you if you want to change that. everything else is normal maintenance like, rotor, bad, tires est.... I would look to see if there are any leak. also if you have a manual you can change the fluid on the the tranny,, auto I would wait to 150k to do that, but if the auto trans is shifting good with no problems I would leave it alone.....and if its not broken dont fix it!!!!!! good luck I'm sure that car will see 200k with out a problem with you driving it or someone else..

Even though it's a Bimmer. Its still a car... most cars live way past 100k if your not dogging it. Keep it and love it. Just don't neglect anything and ride the hell out. 
I understand these cars can be very expensive to fix if something major breaks, but lets be reality; a lot of basic things we can do ourselves. What makes things expensive is paying for dealer work without even attempting to turn your own wrench.

Hoses
Belts
Oil
Brakes
MISC Fluids
etc
It's really not that hard unless it's electronic.
I understand these cars can be very expensive to fix if something major breaks, but lets be reality; a lot of basic things we can do ourselves. What makes things expensive is paying for dealer work without even attempting to turn your own wrench.
