Hello all,

Well, at 9 o clock PM tonight, I was following a toyota camry in the fast lane, going 80mph on the 118 westbound past balboa st and there was a toyota prius behind me, keeping up, the officer came by, cut off the prius and pulled me over.

when he came up to the car, he's like "oh another teenager driving a BMW..ugh..you were speeding..blah blah blah"

this is my 3rd violation, first one was a hit n run(2 points) stop sign(traffic school, 5 months ago) and now this..

been driving for 2 years..what's going to happen!!?? and how do i get out of this
money is really not a hassle btw

80 in a 65 btw
Something I learned long ago which has kept me out of trouble with the law ever since: Don't stand out in the crowd

Probably over half the drivers on the California highways are driving more than 10-15mph over the limit when traffic permits and CHP simply can't stop all of us. So they pick off the drivers who are doing something more, the ones that change lanes frequently and/or tailgate. Stop doing that and your odds of getting ticketed go way down. Bottom line is that your driving style somehow appealed to that cops sense of ticket worthiness so you got nailed.

The thing is, when you all say "little kid with a nice car"

the hit n run was with a 92 toyota camry that i paid for, by myself..

thanks for everything though

if only most people knew how open the 118 westbound is at 9pm, or let alone, any given time on any given day.

dude, you're saying all the wrong things here! we don't give a rats a$$ about your money so stop it already. and about the open freeway... are you serious?! freeway doesn't mean "free to drive any which way you choose" and just because it's "open" doesn't mean you should disregard the safety of others in your states publicly funded thoroughfare. you've got to be more responsible than this. use good judgement when behind the wheel of any type of vehicle. my question is, did you not learn all this prior to taking your drivers license? the "rules of the road" so to speak, to drive defensively and not aggressively, etc.? or did you bribe your way out of that? sorry, couldn't resist

many of us were your age once and we've all done a number of stupid things/mistakes before. some regret it and some accept it, but we all learned from it and try not to make the same mistake. this is wisdom young man, something you will attain with experience. i hope this is one experience/lesson (among others) you can learn and grow from. you own up to your mistakes, you pay the consequence, YOU LEARN, you apply that knowledge and you move on.

btw, did you talk to your parents about this? they may have the best advice

good luck

I think the only reason people have been coming to that conclusion is because of the extremely childish behavior you exhibited in your driving, and in your complaining about being wronged by the police.

You need a car with more stealth. The roundel is a big red bullseye target.
