High pitch noise while engine is running
Ok, I now have this high pitched noise that sounds like something linked to a bad stereo install. It is not a seal issue from the wind. The noise is electronic sounding and seems to vary when I press the brake or turn the wheel. I've turned everything off, AC, detector, radio anything I could, and there is no effect on this noise. I've read before about an alternator noise that can be heard. I'm not sure if this is it, but it sounds like it could be. Does anyone know how I can isolate to determine where is comes from so I can stop it? It's not real loud, but clearly there and its almost ear piercing.

Check the belts, tensioner and alternator, Tony.
Avoid parking in view of girls in bikinis and see if it'd stop.
Good luck, bro!

Can you determine if the noise is coming from inside the cabin or the engine bay?
I just recently replaced my oil pressure sensor and the oil that leaked out (not much btw) somehow got on my belts and cause a very high squeel. After wiping down belts the noise went away. Good luck

Check if the sound is coming from the right side (passenger side) of the car, behind/under the rear seat.
I used to have this high electrical pitch noise in my ex-car and it came from some electric device on that area.

The noise is seems to be inside the car for sure. It's a little hard to pin point where its coming from but my first guess is from under the steering wheel area or perhaps the speakers. Sometimes it seems to vary with engine rpm, and when the brake is applied it will change then return etc. This is why I was thinking something in the alternator but that is just a wild ass guess... I was hoping that when I turned off something like AC etc it would stop but nothing seems to affect it.
I'll have a look at the belts, tensioner and alternator this weekend and avoid parking near HOT women... NOT!
UPDATE: Thought about this more. Realized the noise is not noticible initially. I start to hear it when I get close to arriving home from work after about 20 minutes of driving. This morning I didn't hear it all until I was close to work. After it starts then it remains this way.

I had this issue when I first installed my amp. It was coming from the speakers. It would get louder if I applied the brakes and even pulse as I activate the turn signals. So it was basically the lights making the noise louder. In the end I turned down the gains on the amp until I can't hear the noise anymore. That was my issue, can't say if it's yours though.
