High battery drain message today

So today I got the high battery drain message. I will be making a service appointment tomorrow. Have any of you guys experienced this before,
and what was the resolve? Only had the car for a month, and had to get a jump start two weeks ago, now this.

My Ride: 2006 Titanium Silver BMW 530iA, Sport & Premium Package, Active Steering, Anti-Roll-Suspension, Adaptive Headlight, Navigation, OEM M-Tech Kit, Authentic RD Trunk Spoiler, VIP Modular Wheels: 245/35/20; 275/30/20, OEM M Trunk Finisher.
I had at least three jump starts this month. I took my car to a local auto service shop and did a battery test on my car today. Battery Test result shows "good battery" with 12.58 volts. When he tested the alternator and load test, the result shows "battery is good, but low on charge, charge battery and return to vehicle". How can the battery be low on charge when I had it fully charged over night, disconnected it and immeditately drove for about 30 mintues and went directly to the their shop for a battery test? Can anyone please shine some light on this problem and help me fix it? Also, I don't have any after market electronic components or anything out of stock connected to my car...

My Ride: 2008 550i M-Sport
I had the same problem. The cause was the LED bulbs installed in the interior causing drain when the car was off. I removed the LED's and went back to factory bulbs and the problem went away. It has been 3 months. Installed the same bulbs in my Acura MDX, no problem.

had the same issue on my first 545i, was due to previous owner not getting the battery programmed when getting it installed, i got it programmed and had no issues after. on my second 545i it was due to bad battery, had to get it replaced. how old is your battery?? if its under 2 years you should have warranty.

If you are still in warranty and have a "favorable driving profile*" a battery replacement might be in order. Lots of posts about this topic as our cars have gigantic parasitic power drain and battery technology simply hasn't caught up to the rest of the engineering department!
This past winter, because of bad weather and very cold temperatures I only drove my car 5-10 miles a day, every 2-3 days. I too was visited several times by the "high battery drain when stopped" message ... had to reset my clock several times. Then I made it a point to connect my battery tender when I knew I wasn't going to drive my e60 regularly. Now that I'm driving 100-200 miles a week all seems fine. I suspect that if I still have this car next winter I will replace the battery.
