I have come across this on a German Forum:
http://img191.exs.cx/img191/8757/geheimmen6tj.jpg
They say that there are up to 19 hidden Main Menus and 3 submenus showing software stand(?),production date, chassis No, KI Test, digital Tacho,Tank Fill,Fuel cosumption pero/100km and per/hour, etc.

The three main active menus are:
1.0 Vehicle data
2.0 KI Test
19.0 Other Data

I havn't tried it myself coz I am not particularly interested.

Here's how it works on my car--see my post #28 on this thread. This post indicates how I originally got to what I think of as the "good" hidden i-Drive menu for my car. Now, I just kind of fumble around to get there since I have the basic ideas in mind.

ZNOD, I did read that post, but I think I am missing something?? Sorry, but isn't that post for getting into the hidden menu inside the INSTRUMENT CLUSTER?

Yes it is. I was not quite clear on what you wanted. One time at least you mentioned wanting to get into "those menus" after a post that linked some intructions for accessing both types of menus was made. But, anyway, you may want my instructions one day. I think that the cluster menu is the only place you can find anything useful--and there is not much useful there either. I used the cluster menu to check the accuracy of my "analog" speedo and tach. The speedo, predictably, was 2 MPH fast. The tach seemed accurate in general. But, I found that my car shifts automatically at about 6,450 RPM rather than the 6,700 RPM shown by the "analog" tach.

Interesting... so on the CLUSTER MENU, is there a way to also find out the Software Version installed?

Also, do you have any suggestions to look at the HIDDEN IDRIVE MENU ?

My understanding is that if one had pro nav, which is all that currently is available in the US, then you can't find the software version using either hidden menu and that the only option is to have your dealer get it for you (which very well might not be free). If your software ever is updated, then be sure and have your dealer tell you what version was installed. I have never tried to access the hidden iDrive menu.

This header sounds like a teaser headline on the cover of a trashy tabloid....I love it.

Cheers,
