Hi-Fi Loudspeaker Option

I've got hi-fi loudspeaker on my 535D M-Sport & i just wondered (i have searched) what this option provides over the standard stereo & also what is extra with Logic7 over the hi-fi loudspeaker??
I'm more than happy with my car's sound system & after finding out than any after market upgrade would cost a fortune, i'm just curious to see exactly what i've got??

My Ride: My ex-ride: EU '08 LCI 520dA. Space Grey, Sport Seats in Black Leather/Fabric Anthracite, Sport Steering Wheel, A/C with Extended Features, Hi-Fi Speakers, Cup Holders, Cruise with Braking function, Folding Rear Seats, Xenons, Park Distance Control.
The Hi-Fi system have speakers and the amp (180 W) is a bit better all the way.
The standard BMW BusinessCD system has only 8 spekers and the EU Hi-Fi system 10.
Even the standard set has two subs under the front seats, at least my 525i has.
I'm happy with the standard sound but if you really want Hi-Fi go for Logic7 system.

PS. The aftermarket has nothing to give to you - or then, burst in your ? and it will...

L7 has 7-mid, 4-tweeter, and 2-subs underseats.

Seams a bit strange, as i'd guess it also means Logic7 is probably a cheaper option in the US than the UK??
Following on, where are the speakers (hi-fi loudspeaker) located in the car??

The funniest thing is that the US $ is not worth nothing compared to the ? (Euro).
1 Euro = 1,20 USD

We have discussed this before on another thread. I could not understand how your car has 8 speakers and that you also have the two subs?
Then I went and checked my car since I knew it had the standard system with 8 speakers. I found that I only have 6 speakers
. Two tweeters in the front doors, two mids in front doors, and two mids on the rear deck. Have I missed something or does my car only have 6 speakers ?

You are correct Shebs, standard has 6 and no subs.
Ricracing must have Hi-Fi or better for him to have subs in his seats.
I think L7 also gives you equaliser controls that the other systems don't have.

L7 also gives an EQ and a DSP processor with two modes of operation. Im happy with it..can really feel the subs
