Im new to the forums and was hoping to get some info!

Im looking into getting an e60 5series.. Was wondering what years / models i should stay away from. How many miles i could get out of em.

Im looking at a few online on craigs.. mainly 525, 528s, and 530s..

they seem to be cheaper.. Im just looking fo a nice clean car for cheap..

i heard the turbos could give problems around 90k ... and the 550s the valve seals go around 90k

Any advice on these e60s would be great... Thanks!

i have a 550 with 98k not one oil drip on it. now 545's i always have heard of issue but they did a better job on 550's

for advice you can tell who takes car of their cars and who doesn't. most people who work on theri own cars tend to car more (alot of them on here) ones who go to dealers love to spend money and get shafted
