Notice that the E39 only looks dated when compared to the e60 - testament to how great the design of both cars is in my opinion.

I think the E39 looks dated even by itself -- if anything, it's a classic design that doesn't look outdated, it just looks old...

I think the E39 is the best looking 5 series until the E60 comes out...hehe

I won't even look at the 5 series before the e39, that's when I start pay more attention on 5 series.

If one is looking for objective information about the e60, you will not find it on RF. The issue with RF is that one of the owners/moderator, Charlie, hates new BMW design and has intentionally fostered a negative, non-objective environment. This has lead to RF to becoming a dead BMW board. Charlie is now attempting to turn RF into a board for bloggers abandonning th message board format.
