I'm working with Eurorev's paint shop to custom paint some interior pieces.
Such as the steering wheel trim pieces and the shift knob to match the silver color of the door handles and the M5 idrive knob...
I'm hoping I can just pop them off, no?

edit: If you're driving the manual then you can just pull the shift knob off. I don't know about the automatic...

To remove the trim from the steering wheel you have to remove the airbag first and then you get to screws holding the trim.

Yeah auto - we can just pull it off - no prob.
I'll post pics when the painted trims are completed!
