Get it fixed by an independent shop.
If the dealer knows about the damage, they will try to discount your trade-in value even more than normal.... regardless if you fixed the damage or not.

I ran into a shopping cart one time in my old car. It was windy and the cart was rolling toward me....it was not pretty when we met But you know, it didn't even bother me then. I just love this car way too much

I did a similar stuff to my back bumper, on the right side, but only the bumper not the fender also...it's on a smaller patch and more deep scratsches then a big patch where the paint has been removed. Backed up while steering at max and didn't see a parking pole...gladly it was slow enough not to bend anything. I'm thinking about a touch up kit or the inssurance. But it hurts to see anything dismounted from my car. You know it's a certain feeling that once you dismount smth that was fabric mounted it might not be the same. Or maybe i'm a bit paranoic when it comes to this stuff.
I am so paranoid that before I get in the car, I walk around it every time and check for damage.
