i hit a trash can while putting my sunglasses on and the mirror itself shattered but everything else seems fine.

it happened to me before I hitted a cab while he's trying to change lanes without checking I ended buying only mirror for 150$ from junkyard and said to insurance it cost me 400$ which let me think agian to hit someone

Cheap ebay knockoffs will shake when you hit bumps. I brought one for my truck and it sucked any vibration in the road would make the vibration in the mirror. I couldn't even make out any images on the mirror because it shook so much.
