Hello, just bought used rims with 9" by 20" -et 20 front and 10" by 20" et 26 rear for my 2008 535-sport suspension. Any suggestions on tire size and brand to prevent rubbing. I prefer to use 255/35/20 front and 285/30/20 rear.

Hi.

Those sizes will rub, I'm pretty sure. You could get away with it with 235 or 245/35 R20 and 275/30 R20. Also, check the clearance in front, between the strut and and the wheel/tyre. 9" wide with ET20 sounds like it will sit pretty near the strut.

i originally had 245 30 20 and 285 25 20. road like dog shit but left plenty of room to lower and use a spacer for full flush. i switched to 245 35 20 and 285 30 20 the ride is so much better. cant run the extra spacer with it lowered and rolled tho but wheels are still close to flush

The front will rub 100%. 245/35/20 will be close. 285/30 will be close as well so you might need to roll your fenders, but if you want to be safe 275/30 will do.

He will DEFINITELY need to roll the fenders. I ran 285/30/20 before and it rubbed like a teenager with a Victoria's Secret catalog and an empty bathroom. I now run 245/35/20 fronts and 275/30/20 rears, lowered on coils, no rubbing - even with a full back seat

Im also running 245/35/20 n 285/30/20.
The rear rubs so much. Rolled fenders and it still rubs alittle on big dips.
My sidewalls is pretty much all gone!
I say go with 275/30/20 on the rear and be done with it!

Do you have ANY issues with rubbing on the rear fenders? I just ordered new 20" HRE P43SC and was going to run 285's. Car is lowered on Dinan suspension. It is not an aggressive drop but a drop nonetheless.

Also, what are your wheel widths?

Thanks for your help.

BEAUTIFUL ride you have :-)
