Hi,

I have a e60 5er with 20" Miro 167 Style wheels, which have been / are awesome.

Recently got a flat, and tires got replaced. When the flat happened, I swapped out the wheel with the stock donut wheel so that I could drive to my nearest tire shop to get the tire replaced on the Miro.

When they fixed the flat, and went to put the Miro wheel back on, they noticed that the spacer/ring was broken, probably since the donut was on there during that brief duration.

Now the Miro is back on, they said having that spacer off temporarily is fine, but should get it replaced asap. Currently when driving I feel the car wobbling/shaking/vibration which im guessing is due to that.

Any one know what the spec of the spacer should be / and where I can get some (I'm in NYC) but I dont mind ordering and getting it shipped if its quicker.

Thanks!

There are a million spacer threads - I had one too

Turner and H&R seem to be popular. Check with the Forum vendors in the Vendor section... you may just want to replace them all together - I am not sure it shoudl have cracked/split... If you want to know what you have look for manufacturer markings and you can always measure the thickness yourself.

the way I read it, he is talking about a centering ring? If so most of your custom wheel shops should have one (or a set) My current set of wheels were missing them and had a horrible vibration. I got a set through trinity. $20 or less. Since you are in NYC I would think you would be able to get a set through John at Motorcepts (?)

Thanks, yeah.. looks like the centering ring is what cracked and was removed.

Anyone know if John / Motorconcepts is still active on here? Did a quick user search but didnt find his info.

most tire/wheel install shops should be able to help you out, its a hub centric ring then....you will need to know the OD of the hub opening of your wheel....

+1 sounds like the eccentric hub ring not a spacer...i mean i guess you can call it a spacer but you can read that in different ways
