Help!! replaced Trans solenoids and now doesnt crank
I replaced the transmission solenoids on the valve body in my car, after putting everything back together, the car only "clicks" when pushing the start button. I used INPA to diagnose, and have the following faults,
DME/DDE CD99 D4
DME/DDE CD9E 54
DME/DDE CD9D 54
DME/DDE CDB0 54
the battery was reading at 12.5, any ideas will be appreciated!!!
PS 2006 525i
DME/DDE CD99 D4
DME/DDE CD9E 54
DME/DDE CD9D 54
DME/DDE CDB0 54
the battery was reading at 12.5, any ideas will be appreciated!!!

It sounds like you never fitted the plastic slide for the gear select into its proper position when you refitted the valve body
You will need to remove the filter and you will be able to see it on the drivers side of the valve body

Yes that's right
If that's not in the correct place you will not be selecting the correct gear so it won't start
The only other issue you may have is that you never fully engaged the big electrical plug after installing the valve body although I think i would check both to make sure
