I was bringing home a vase full of roses and water in the back seat when it tipped over during a very slow left turn, effectively emptying all the water onto the rear seat. It looked like a pond back there, with the water so high. I was 2 blocks from home.
When I pulled into my garage, to my horror, all the water was gone under the seat! I immediately called my gf to bring as many towels as she can find (the roses were for her for an arguement the night before) and I yanked out the rear seat right away. I soaked up all the water and dried it for many hours with a wet-vac set on the blow-setting.
After that, I noticed there were three (3) unplugged wires. Two on either side of the seats for the rear heated seats and one that had no where to plug. Does anyone know what this plug is for? It is labled "BATTERIEHAUPTSCHALTER." In my frantic blitz to save everything, I did not notice it in the dismantling process.
I could not find anything that is missing or goes together with this plug. Any help is appreciated! And yes, I am an idiot!

The battery switch is a temporary cable used to disconnect the battery from the electrical circuit during transport (to prevent electrical drain). When the car gets it PDI, the switch is removed and the wire tucked under the back seat. It is of no consequence now.

The above answers are correct -- don't worry about the connector.
FYI, putting "BATTERIEHAUPTSCHALTER" into the search form of the board returns two other threads where this topic came up:

Hope the roses helped!

Hey, thanks alot guys. Yeah... all is dry and the roses worked. For future reference, when I tucked in that plug back under the seat, I made sure that the plug is sitting near the edge of the front of the rear seat. That way, if something similar happens (like someone spilling a 64 ounce Big Gulp from 7-11), it won't short out the plug and kill the elec current in my car.
