Help need urgently Centre console trim LCI

Hi guys got an LCI E60 started to lift trim from near the end (idrive controller )but cant get it off or it doesnt go back into place,
There are 2 black plastic clips near the end but they dont seem to go back in as the holes they go into are really big ???
Someone help meeeeeeeeeee
