ihave serviced it, got tge egr valve cleaned and got the air mass sensor checked.
I just got the injectors manually check.. all is in order.. only thing that cums up when they pluged into the car is.. the battery sensor.
I dnt know what to check next.

Who is servicing your car? They're stumped? Or are they just throwing parts at the problem?

And seeing as it's a 525D... I've seen people here easily get 60+ MPG out of those. Something is most definitly wrong.

I've seen a common problem to be the thermostats, but those will throw a code...

What type of driving are you typically doing? Diesels need a warmed-up engine to get good efficiency out of it. If you're frequently doing local/city stop-and-go driving on a cold engine, that'll also detract from your MPGs. Though probably not by that much I'd think.

Just throwing some ideas/thoughts out there.

Have you tried resetting the mileage indicator after a fill up? The fuel economy posted in our cars is cumulative, so you are seeing the avg fuel economy since it has been reset. Try doing that and see if it helps.

This fuel consumption on a 525D? You sure you have a diesel? I'm so confused
