if u have a black sapphire e60 would u choose
a) black grills -which black? will matte black actually match with the black sapphire body?
b) carbon grills - its kind of feeling weird to get cf grills because i dun have another cf parts, or is it?

if anyone has a black sapphire e60 with matte black grills or shadow black w/e and can link me so i can have a look would be nice.
I will mostly settle for black grills but i dunno which black and where to get it from.. its ebay or sources on this forum.
Anyone bought grills from any distributor here? a good recommendation would help.

The key idea is, if you have a black sapphire e60, which path would u go? and why not the other?
i need help
thanks guys.

Check ebay for best prices! Go for the matte black! I personally don't care for the carbon fiber look for the grille.

Here's an old pic from C's Bimmer (Jet Black)...grille from eBay

Get matte black kidney grilles and paint the surrounds.

Have you considered having yours colour matched? Get a shop to prep and paint your current chrome grills. I'm not an expert so not sure if it's possible or what the result would be but it'd look great colour matched to your car.

To paint your OEM kidney grilles, you will need to sandblast the chrome off. Paint will not adhere to chrome and will be severely prone to rock chips and flaking.

Your car is verry nice

Colour is good
wheels are super
grilles are verry cool
//M body is verry cool

one word super car.

I just wann the same car but only in Touring version, and with an 535dA engine.

I hope that i can buy that car, in the Netherlands are cars verry expensive.

example, wenn you would buy a 535dA touring, construction year 2006 or 2007 you musst pay approx 80000 euro's

Carbonfiber is what I went with on my Space gray. I don't regret it for a second. I just need a couple more cf parts to finish the look.

I'm very happy with the CF grills and roundels on my TiAg. Those laminates are already starting to peel, however, so I am going to have to invest in some actual replacement roundels fairly soon.
