I'm encountering a strange problem with my 2004 545i; Low-beam works, but none of the turn signals or the high beams are working. I checked all the fuses and they are all ok.

Does this car have the LCM (light control module) like the older models? my other friend was mentioning something about the 'flasher' unit... i donno if this thing even has a flasher.

Any help is greatly appreaciated.

I had this once on my 545. Called out BMW assist and all he did was to disconnect the battery for a few minutes and then reconnect it. All the faults cleared and the lights worked normally again. Never had the problem again. Maybe worth a try.

Thanks. I will give that a try. Here is the exact error message on the NAV display:
"Fault in Check display, turn signals, high headlamp flasher & Fog Lamp"

Never herad about this before, mwbmw?

You have blown a fuse or worse, or then your car has.

Please let us know what the BMW Assist said and how the service did work!

Best of luck!

PS. The E60 has a great reserve of fuses in the trunk, check it out!
