Help with headlight cleaning

i would like to thank everybody in this helpful forum.. cuz i realy got enough info about my car.. i made search about how to open headlight housing.. my headlights are dirty from inside.. i didnt find and topic mentioned the steps ... anyone here may help me ?? thanks in advance my car is 530i 2004 with no headlight washers |
Remove headlights from the car, remove all the bulbs out of the headlight housings, carefully pour Isopropyl Alcohol/Rubbing Alcohol in to the housing and let the Alcohol go around the entire frontal surface (inside), pour out the Alcohol, let the housings dry, put back all the bulbs and reinstall the headlights.

E60 headlights have to be cut open if you want to clean the inside.
look up a DIY on Orion Angel Eyes installation if you'd like to see how to cut the lights open. otherwise cleaning the exterior can be done easily... |

Seems risky, any DIY video or pics for this?
Some one has done and posted a DIY - either on this forum or on Bimmerfest. Please search. |
