Lightbulb Headlight problems- 2008 BMW 528i

Low beams are not working, i replaced the H7 bulbs, both low beams will not come on. High beams and fog lights are working properly. Wondering if the headlight control module has gone bad. Any suggestions on what to check next?

Inspect the wire harness for the headlights.

These cars have rotting plastic wire insulation and they may either break or short out.

If you find failing wire insulation, liquid tape can be brushed on. This is just a liquid rubber like plasti-dip product.

I would look for something common to both low beams - the chance that the wiring on both beams is broken at the same time is remote. I don't know if the fuse for these lamps is common or not, but that might be a place to look.
