Default Help! Car wouldn't start

Today when leaving work my car would not start unless I put the key into the slot. Then when I went to move it tonight the car would not start at all and I tried to turn it on multiple times. I was finally able to get it to start but have no idea what I did and now my mileage in in KM.

Any idea what could be happening?

Thanks everyone!

What do you mean not start? Not starting because of the battery or a faulty key? What year make and model is your car. How old is your battery? Did you try to use your second key?

I think you mean the brake pedal. What are you getting at startup? Is the starter turning over? Is it trying to crank over but dont? If not you are looking at a starter issue. How many miles? Year/Make/Model

do you have a second key. If so, see if you are getting the same thing with it. I would have the battery checked out. If you have a trickle charger charge it up for a few hours to see if it helps.
