Heres the situation, my girlfriend was messing around with the stuff in my glove box and shut it, no biggee. Then she was going to open it again and it wouldnt open. So i thought it was locked, got home tried to open it, no go. The lock seems to be loose in the box itself. Has anyone had to break into there glove box and if so how.....?

any independent shop will charge you close to $120 plus they might not have the part... the dealer replace this in 4 minutes and only charged me for the piece $20

It s your gf's fault. Bring it to dealer and send her the bill.

Why was she messing around in your glovebox ??

#! - You need to get her under control NOW

Glove box lever is loose on mine too. I just pulled it and one side came off. Seems like an easy fix though.

You may be able to open by inserting the key and using this to open the lock. I've had problems with mine where on side of the hinge came loose with the small round locating pin falling out. Got it all back together and working, but the lock barrel can be lose sometimes and using the key to re-insert can help.
