My Ride: 05 530i M Sport Sedan / Silver Grey
Default

Hi guys,

I have a 06 530i M Sport and i am experiencing a problem under firm acceleration, the car gets to about 4500-5000 rpm and it kind of stutters before pushig through it at about 5500- 6000rpm. I am using 98 RON fuel so fuel quality should not be an issue. I took it to the dealer and a tech took it for a drive and of coarse he came back with the old classic......"i couldn't find anything wrong with it".
Anyone experienced this problem or have any idea what may eliviate it???

I think I know what youre experiencing. Its a brief hesitation in my case when I push on the gas. Might be a software issue , or could be normal .

apparently they updated the software but this did not have an impact, i find it hard to beleive that this is normal...although that is what BMW would have me beleive.

Any other 530 owners having the same experience??????
