Hello, I recently purchased a 2005 BMW 530i from a Acura dealership and they replaced the pads and rotors before I bought the car. Last night while driving home the ABS warning light came on and the brake pedal sank to the floor. I pulled over, shut down the car and waited a few minutes. When I restarted, and placed the car in Drive it wouldn't move. The brakes were locked! Turned off again and later restarted the car brake pedal went to the floor to stop. Took it in to a shop and they tell me that petroleum fluid was in the brake reservoir and my hoses are swollen. Towed back to Acura dealer and they say the brake fluid was not changed during the brake service. Can you change rotors and pads without adding fluid or bleeding the system? Any help would be much appreciated!
