hi all./
i was got an accidented a month ago and my 07 530i passenger comfort seat was been crashed .. i cant find the used one for my car.. im wondering can i put the regular sport seat into my car.?
are there any problem with it? thanks for the help.

From what I've researched about seat swapping, it is supposedly not an easy retrofit. Maybe Bruce or one of the other tech/retrofit guys here can give you more insight. I would try maybe to buy parts for the seat? The leather is seat covers in our cars, and unless the frame/electrical was damaged on the seat it should be repairable.

I don't know the answer, but why would you? I would advise to be persistent until you find a suitable replacement.

yea. i want to . but after my car got an accident .its became to salverge title . so i need to get the seat soon to past the CHP inspection. ..so plz help ..

no its not a simple plug and play, you will have some errors come up in idrive

the best thing to do is to find an OEM replacement with the correct sensors and harness for your car

sorry but if you cant find a used one that is EXACTLY like yours you might have to bite the bullet and order one new

a new seat shouldnt cost $5k, thats an absurd amount of money

check local wreckers and also get a price quote from Garry at BMW Newport, he gives 25% off
