Nice, we are waiting for pictures.

Sorry I am stealing your thread a bit, but I've a question for our German friends...

I will be in Germany for two weeks starting 7 March. I am puzzled what tires to wear for the trip. I've many
So my questions are: should I wear my summers 18" or should I leave winter 17"? If I go with summer RFT tires, will I have problems in some areas? Can I drive in Germany with non-RFTs? Someone from BMW Germany told me that E60 are homologated only with RFTs so in case of some incidents I can be guily of replacing RFT with non-RFT. Is this true?
Big ipaq stay in winter shoes and watch the weather forecast here is 3C and I am still using my winters guess until mid March or end. Do go anywhere in Summer sneakers unless you wanna risk your and your babys conditions

winter tires are needed below +7 C do not know in F, so be carefull and the weather now all around is
Indeed. That's why I have them on. But still, don't want to ruin them if I can make the trip with summer ones. As CVTBenhogan, he did just fine with summer tires. I was curious about what others in Germany think about this.

What great fun!!

When you get back to Munich, make sure you try the AUGUSTEINER BRAU, it is always voted the favorite by Muncheners. I have to agree!

The other locals are darn good, but the AugusteinerBrau is the BMW of Munich brewers!

Lucky you CVTBenhogan!

The 530i is the most common gas engine in Europe, I'm sure you understand that
seeing the EU gas prices.

In EU the diesels are really popular for the same reason.

Have fun!

PS. Summertires can be put on in April in northern Germany.

European cars usually get the electronic 250 kpmh limit, did you have this removed, or does the odometer need recalibration?
