Hello everyone. I recently got(about 2 mo ago) a 05 545i and i love it. This is my first bmw that i own(had 2 hondas before) and i have a few question.
I have Logic7 but every time i try to play a mp3 its not working. Is there anything i can do about that ? Also what are the best moods that wont void my warantie and give the car more power and better performance.

BTW if you mod the engine that will void the warantie
get the sprint booster, K&N air filter, H&R swaybars

not all mods will void warranty. take a look at the parts/mods section of the forum to get some ideas. a lot of us still have warranty on our e60s.

Someobdy correct me if I'm wrong - but I thought mp3 playback capability only came with the LCI models.

It's a 2005 car which seems to confirm MP3 capability on pre-LCI... :P

Are you puting the mp3 cd into the single cd slot in the dash? If you have navigation do not put an mp3 cd into the Nav CD slot. NAV Slot will take mp3 dvd's only. If you are doing it correctly and it is not working take it to the dealer and tell them to upgrade the software to the latest version, that you want the mp3 playback. Thats what I did to get my 05 545 to play mp3's. Note that they will not play in the cd changer.
