Default Which heater core hoses do I clamp? 2008 535i

Trying to bypass my heater core until I can replace it, but wanted to clamp them instead of looping them as I’ve seen it’s not good to loop. I’m new to the BMW motors and not sure which ones to clamp as it looks like two go into the heater valve? Any help would be appreciated!

Clamp the hoses going to the heater valve and unplug the aux pump

Clamping old hoses is never a good idea. The hose is just not as elastic as it once was. Just get the new part and do it all at once.

Unfortunately that’s not an option at this point. Can’t afford to replace it right now & definitely too much work to take on myself considering I have to take off the whole dash lol.

Just unplug the aux pump and heater control valve. That should prevent water going to the heater core

I didn't understand you meant the inside unit had issues. You should go to Home Depot or your local hardware store and buy plugs and just clamp the plugs into the hose ends.
