When I turn on the heated steering wheel, within 60 seconds the wheel gets pretty warm. I'd say within another 5 minutes, the top half is not nearly as warm as the bottom half. It's still a little warm, just nothing like the bottom half. I've tried constantly moving my hands around as to not have them in one position to long thinking that might have something to do with it.

The odd thing is that when I first turn it on, it is nice and toasty all the way around. It's like the top portion is on a timer and shuts off.

Does your heated wheel stay very warm the entire time you have it on?

Thanks.

I find that the sides heat up faster and are a bit hotter than the top and bottom. I'm not sure how the design is. Perhaps it's meant to be like that since that's where they figure your hands will most likely/should be.

I have never noticed any difference but will try tomorrow morning. I just use the heater to heat up the steering wheel and shut it off when warm.
