Heated seats burnt through the driver side seat!

My Ride: 2007 BMW 525xi
Heated seats burnt through the driver side seat!
Hi guys. I just bought a 2007 525xi about 2 weeks ago. Everything worked fine until this morning when I smelled something burning.
I look to my left side and saw smoke coming out! I see this burning hole on the drive side bolster!
Almost burned my jacket.!
I tried searching and found that it was recalled for 02 and 04 E60s. Does anyone know if BMW will fix this for free? Current mileage is 93,xxx miles.
