Heated mirrors?

This winter my drivers side mirror was turned off color I believe from the heating element, and I don't eaven know how to turn them off!

also can I replace just the glass?

The mirror heaters come on when you use the rear window heater button.

Actually automatically activated as well ... .but this is a double post - I thought only newbees did that
