Heated Mirror Glass Wiring
Dumb question here (because I wasn't paying attention):
My driver's side mirror on my 2004 545i is cracked. I removed the mirror glass to verify fitment of a non-auto dimming replacement glass (which I ordered by accident), and in the process I removed the two wires (brown and black) to the mirror for the heating element. However, I don't recall which wire goes to which stud. I tried removing the passenger mirror, but it's a mirror image and I didn't know if the wiring was mirrored or the same. Anybody ever replace their driver's side mirror glass and know which wire goes to which? |
It wont matter, they are for the heater resistance in the mirror. Its just important both are plugged in.
