US spec. 2007 525i no comfort seats and I have the electronic headrest.

+ 1 , Probably its due to Premium package with lumber support , not sure though, but I have them.

I have a 2004 535i - Standard Seats - BUT - I DO have the motorized head rests. I have, however, the Premium package (but not the Comfort 20-way seats). So - the Premium Package (which added things such as Lumbar Support I believe) also has the motorized head rests.
