I have my headlights set to auto. In the last couple of days I've noticed that they stay on all the time while driving. Nothing blocking any sensor.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong??

Thanks,

B

There is a sensitivity adjustment that can be done by the dealer at least on the earlier e60(on our e90 I can adjust via Idrive). Anyway during Seattle winters my light are on all the time exepct the very height of day on when it's sunny which is rare.

The setting is counter intuitive. "Very sensitive" means the lights will turn on/off at the smallest change in ambient light, not in a low light environment I also believe the sensor may determine relative sun position because I've seen the lights also turn on when the sun is low on the horizon even though it very bright outside.
