hi,
i have an 05' 545i, im still deciding whether or not to upgrade the angel eyes. anyways when i was looking at some pictures i noticed that the orange light right above the front bulbs is turned on (eyebrow). on my car its not, i was wondering why mine wont turn on. is that something i have to modify myself to get to work?

were you looking at pics of the LCI headlights? Might help if you post the pics you were looking at...

do yours turn on? i tried using the signals, high beams and the orange lights wouldnt turn on.

i think you might need a software update by the dealer...there was a bug in one of the software were the angel eyes would come on but not the eyebrow part....talk to the dealer about it

the orange lights above the angel eyes come on with the parking lights/angel eyes on my LCI e60...can't speak for pre-LCI models, but I am sure members will chime in to help you out with that...

if there is a bug in the s/w i hope the dealer can take care of it free of charge because the car isn't under warranty anymore...
as far as LCI models, im not sure what that is. mines an 05' so im not sure. so with my orange lights not turning on this is not normal?

LCI (life cycle impulse: run a search for more info) refers to the '08 e60 model. Not sure if the dealer will take care of it for free if your warranty is over. Depends on your relationship with your SA/dealership service dept. If one dealership say no, you could always try another, no harm in asking...GL
