I have adaptive headligths on my 2004 525i, my drivers side is stuck facing the left and will not move or go straight, I have unplugged it and plugged it back in to see if it would reset itself and it doesnt. does anyone know what i should do????

 

When it's dark and you switch the headlights to the automatic setting, does the green LED near the switch flash? If so, then there's clearly a fault with the system and you probably need to have a dealer take a look at it (unless you want to throw a new light assembly at it to see if it fixes things...)

 

The light does blinkwhen its on auto. dam it i wanted to avoid going to the dealers

 

I had the same issue Eugene134 and they found the Motor to be burnt out on the headlight assembly, so certainly it was replaced with my extended warranty. Hope you have warranty still if not it might be costly
