I searched and didn't find much detail. Adaptive headlights definately aren't working, which doesn't really bother me actually. The little green LED flashing at night is the annoying part. Anyone have a simple fix or is this a dealer only type thing that is going to be expensive. Thx for the help.

Put a piece of black electrical tape over it.

lol, I've already thought of that....just thought id check for an easy fix first, it doesn't seem to be harming anything, headlights are aimed straight too, just not moving when I turn

If its flashing, their is a adaptive headlights malfunction. Most likely a trip to the dealership. Last time this happend to my car, they replaced the LCM.

Don't use Auto mode. Just switch headlights on using the right two positions.

there is a green led light by the headlight switch that illuminates when the headlights are on, it flashes if there is something wrong, atleast that's the case w my 545i

the connectors under the hood behind the headlights? This fixed it?

Yes, you need to remove the headlights to access them. It did on my car. Also check fuse #70 in the luggage compartment(trunk). GL.

My car came with adaptive headlamps. I swapped in some OEM euro clears w/o adaptive headlamp feature and my LCM (green light) started flashing as well, so I would say yes, it most likely is adaptive headlamp malfunction. Fortunately, in my case I know exactly why the light is flashing and it really doesn't bother me. Unless you've changed your headlights out to non-adaptives like I have, there's probably an issue that needs to be researched. Reflash perhaps?
