hi,

received my new 550 touring today
because i like to sit as low as possible in a car, i have trouble seeing the HUD icons for speed and active cruise control
does anybody know if the HUD is adjustable?

 

It can be adjusted by the dealer. Although I could swear I saw the screen with the adjustment the first time I got in the car at the dealership on pick-up day, along with male or femalevoice option for the navigation.

 

I was told to adjust my sitting position and that the fine tuning that can be done to the HUD is only that, for fine tuning, not adjusting any real amount.

I wanted mine to be moved up 3cm or so. BMW Canada told me that adjustment is only for a maximum of 5mm, really a waste of time.

So, if you do get your adjusted up, I would be VERY interested in the amount of adjustment that was done.

I also sit as low as possible and i'm not that tall at all. 1,75m dunno how much is it in feet.
