Default Suspension problems for a beginner driver

So I bought a car from a private dealer and I was told it was bought three months ago from a bmw dealership owner with 103,000 miles. That nothing was wrong but the breaks needing to be replaced which she included and some weather stripping. That she was going to have surgery and was going to need a bigger car. Well as soon as I bought it it died on me and when I jumped it totally made the electric components go crazy. I came to find out from a mechanic that it was already jumped before in order to hide the fact that there was problems. unfortunately at the time instead of doing my research my mother had just passed away and I made a ill informed decision and I am stuck with the car because when I change the title I found out it was a salvage title so I can't even sell it to get my money back and have no choice but to fix it. My main issue is the front suspension because I found that there is a crack in the bar that goes across the entire front and also there's bad bushings and a sway bar needs replacing so I think I just want to replace everything because the stearing is off it won't turn all the time the car slides it's knocks it rattles and the traction control doesn't turn on. I really don't have the money to fix everything so I am trying to get advice on what to do first and how

The first thing you need to do is figure out your electrical problems. The sad thing is you probably don't know how or know of anyone to assist you that will save you money on fixing a BMW and you're probably going to spend more than what you paid for it or what it's worth. Is the car fixable yes any car is with the knowledge and funds to do it. The real question is should you fix it. That depends on what it will cost you to get it fixed and you'd have to pay someone to figure out what's wrong with it and what is it going to cost to fix it.

I would have the battery and alternator tested first then look in the trunk at the spare tire area to see if the MPM module has water damage. Check the connector and module. This would be the first thing I would try at least it can be done free of cost. Hopefully its one of the 3 because if its not you are going to need someone there that can troubleshoot your electrical issue and know where to look.
