Without any detailed info on your year/model, I picked a generic 2006 (pre-LCI) 530. You are looking for #2 in the diagram (part # 51457063411), sells for $15.83...

... Mine broke and I just super glued it back on. Bad design by BMW I guess, when it's open passengers seem to hit it all the time.

mine broke too and dont know where the peice went but they replaced it under warrenty for free... no questions asked...
