Saw a thread like this on a board for another car, though it might be interesting to see what we get here, since I'm sure the E60 has lots of cool/hidden features that no-one noticed until they had it for a while.

So, anyone find anything they didn't know about after they had the car for weeks/months?

Yeah.. mine turns into a submarine at the flick of a swith next to the Idrive button (custom fitted by M15)

The side supports of the comfort seats moves outwards when you switch off the ignition ( just as the steeringwheel moves upwards as in the E39 ), to give more convenience when exiting the car.
