Howdy again,

On my 2004 530i, I have the heated steering wheel button (on the joystick to adjust the wheel). When I hit it, it turns yellow, and about 10 seconds later it turns off. The wheel does not get warm.

Do I have a heated steering wheel and its broke? Or do they all have the button and I don't have the option?

I checked fuses and they all are good. Anyway to check?

thanks,

Mike

It sounds like you have the button from your description of its location. So I would guess that you have a malfunction in the system. Fuse??? I don't know.

Good question - I had the seat heaters replaced. No word on the steering wheel heater. I'll call BMW NA and see.

thanks!

I have a '08 528I. Had the same issue with my heated steering wheel. Took it to my BMW dealer and it wound out being a loose wire connection in the steering wheel...
