Do you have a 5 series with no transmission fluid flush done?

I have a 2004 530 with 107k miles on it.

Should I do the flush of the lifetime ATF and change the filter pan or leave it go?

How many miles you got?

That's a great idea that no one has suggested.

Have/get it done, you'll notice the difference. The transmission won't be lifetime if you assume the fluid being so.

Good luck

Just had mine 2004 530i 115K serviced.
Automatic gearbox oil changed and new oil pan (the filter is in the oil pan).

Made some difference, but the old oil looked surprisingly clean.
Just remember to use BMW spec oil, see no reason to do a flush, just change the oil.

While you are at it you should change the mechatronic sleeve/gasket if you have an automatic.(do a search)
I did´t and regret that.

If you go to BMW in germany they will change the gearbox oil every 120.000 KM as normal maintenance

I just had mine done around 6 months ago and I currently have 66k on an '07. I am following Mike Miller's old school maintenance where possible (the fuel filter is inside the fuel tank and costs $500+ to replace so I will let that go). I had no issues at all but figure might as well keep the metal bits lubricated.
