Guys,
I've been in and out 3 times in the last 2 months from BMW Seattle, and it's all about the iDrive.
I dont know what to do. BMW has upgraded it, but the alert "Service Engine Soon (Increased Emissions)" went off again and again.
Any idea what's going on with my car?
Thanks,
Yoko.

It's clearly a malfunction. But it ain't iDrive's fault, it must be a sensor or someting like that.

Yeah, that's like saying you hate thermometers because you're running a fever.

However, I happen to really like I Drive as I can change settings such as the way the locks work etc. I find that once everything was set up, I rarely need to use it except for the telephone and the entertainment; both simple to use.

Thanks guys for the posts.
I think I will point out about the sensor issue to the service department as soon as I can.

3 times in 2 months? Ask your SA what is the lemon law, I am sure he will get it fixed this time.

There are two BMW dealer near here, BMW Seattle and BMW Tacoma. I've been to the Seattle one 3 times. Should I go back to
the them again or try the Tacoma one?
Can I mention about the Lemon Law to BMW Tacoma even though I did the previous service in Seattle one?
